Customs Boat “Hiddensee”, built in 1995 by the Fr. Fassmer shipyard, was to be equipped with air conditioning systems for cooling the wheelhouse and engine control room. HEFKO GmbH developed an individual air conditioning concept for shipyard Schiffswerft Barth GmbH. HEFKO supplied an air cooled PLEXUS ASC40-R Self-Contained marine air conditioning system for installation on the roof top of the wheelhouse. For the engine control room an air-cooled PLEXUS ASC10-SP Self Contained marine air conditioning system was tailor-made to fit into an existing box under the bench behind the wheelhouse.
