MS BREMEN, built in 1990, is a very unique cruise ship. Designed for expeditions e.g. to the Antarctic or on the Amazon highest demands are made to the equipment on board.

During a refit end of September 2012 two air handling units (AHU) were renewed by replacement through new Flexline units from HSK. The new AHUs for this purpose had to comply with the strong requirements of ship operation and had to fit into the existing space for installation. An additional challenge was the delivery in a disassembled state for quick transport through the narrow corridors and openings on board of the vessel. The task was mastered by the air handling units from HSK manufactured with patented FRAME DRILL® technology. They can be transported in a disassembled state and assembled anywhere around the world with the aid of simple hand tools.

In order to secure a reliable operation and a long lifetime of electrical components in enclosures the dissipated heat must be removed. Air conditioners for electrical enclosures are used for this purpose. On board of ships these units must withstand heavy dynamical and thermal loads. Additionally they must show a high resistance against corrosion.

HEFKO Products also provides marine roofmount air conditioners for electrical enclosure cooling which fulfil these requirements. Unit PLEXUS MAP005 SW with cooling capacity of 1.3 kW forms part of the product family which cover a wide range of applications; not only self contained air conditioners but also water chillers and fancoil units.

1,600 exhibitors or so from more than 50 countries will be introducing their novelties for the coming season at Düsseldorf fair. HEFKO Products GmbH presents itself now for the second time already as usual as a young and innovative company at the common stand of BMWi (Ministry of Economics and Technology) in hall 11, stand 11F73.6.

Showcased will be the competency in refrigeration technology with the new exclusive CELSIUS® refrigerator/freezer series for yachts. Also the PLEXUS series of components for air conditioning of boats and yachts will be presented. We are looking forward to your vist!

The biggest yacht and boat equipment market in the north from 29th October to 6th November offers hanseboot – International Boat Show Hamburg. At the show this year again many newly developed products and premieres are presented by about 700 exhibitors from 30 nations.

HEFKO Products shows at hall B5, stand G.131 its competency in refrigeration technology with the exclusive CELSIUS series of refrigerators and freezers for yachts. Firstly this year also the PLEXUS series of components for air conditioning is presented. We are looking forward to your visit!

42nd edition of boot Düsseldorf, the worlds largest yacht and watersports trade fair.

After a difficult year 2009, the mood in the international yacht and watersports industry has improved signifcantly. More than 1.550 exhibitors from 50 countries will be premiering their latest highlights in 17 halls at boot 2011.

HEFKO Products GmbH for the first time also takes part and as a young and innovative company participates in the common stand sponsored by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (BMWi) in hall 15, stand 15A41.7. We present the newly developed CELSIUS® refrigerator/freezer series for yachts.

29th Istanbul Shop&Miles Boat Show

Turkey is making fast strides in becoming the world’s luxury yacht building centre. The Istanbul Shop&Miles Boat Show at the same time is one of Turkey’s leading international fairs in the yacht industry with hundreds of exhibitors and boats up to 58 metres. HEFKO Products this year proudly also takes part in that.

It will be the first appearance of HEFKO Products on a foreign exhibition and the presentation of the newly developed CELSIUS refrigerator/freezer series for yachts in public.

51st International Boat Show Hamburg

Hundreds of exhibitors present the news for water sports of the coming season at the optimal point of time in autumn. They show revolutionary yacht designs and innovations from all over the world. We are also very pleased to be part of it this year.

For the first time HEFKO Products will be presented on a big exhibition platform in Germany. We will showcase the newly developed CELSIUS fridge/freezer series for yachts in public. We are looking forward to welcoming you on our booth F.131 in hall B5.

On 4th June 2010 HEFKO Products GmbH received an order from R&M Ship Technologies for delivery of one condensing unit as well as ten evaporators for cooling of the provision cooling stores on board of the new AROSA river cruise ship currently under construction.

After a short lead time of only 4 weeks the custom made condensing unit was delivered just-in-time at the shipyard in Rostock, Germany. The unit consists of two separate cooling systems. The first system is for normal cooling (+4/+10°C) and the second one is for deep freezing (-25°C).

Both systems are integrated as a compact unit with a common chassis and equipped with two semi-hermetic reciprocating compressors. For each system there is a separate sea water cooled condenser available on the unit.
